The Europeanologist in The Guardian: warning for great hazards

Read  this interesting article in The Guardian where I on the role of Amsterdam after the Brexit, next to Amsterdam’s deputy mayor Kajsa Ollongren and Economics Professor Roel Beetsma. Normally, I’m a bit more positive but here the alarming last quote is mine. Let us please be a little careful with the EU.

With the rise of populism in Europe and the looming disintegration of the European Union, it is doubtful whether the so-called ‘new London’ will be in Europe after all. It could well turn out to be New York, Singapore or Hong Kong.
